The large tandoor oven is a genuine clay oven, handcrafted in Pakistan, designed for high-volume Indian and oriental restaurants. Its terracotta firebox and its lava stones reach very high temperatures and cook a golden naan in a few seconds, with the inimitable taste of the fire-fed tandoor.
With an opening of about 600 mm and a mass of 220 kg, it is the format built to handle volume: more naans and skewers run at once, and a thermal inertia that holds the temperature through a busy service without weakening. The terracotta firebox, hand-shaped, protected by a stainless steel shell, releases an intense and even heat — the true signature of a traditional tandoor.
Supplied with its skewers for meats and fish, it cooks the naan (plain or cheese) as well as tandoori skewers, flatbreads and spiced marinades. The very high temperature of the clay sears the outside while keeping the tenderness — a result that no conventional oven reproduces.
The oven runs on gas and adapts to both networks: mains gas (up to 14 kW, direct connection to the network) or propane in a cylinder (up to 14 kW). Good to know: a propane model must be commissioned by a gas-certified installer, whereas mains gas connects directly. Our team guides you according to your kitchen.
